Original version with English subtitles
This film depicts the real-life murder series of several Roma in Hungary in 2008 and 2009. The viewer is allowed to closely observe a day in the life of a Hungarian Roma family, the feeling of constantly being watched and the fear of sheer survival. This powerlessness does not only render the protagonists breathless but also the viewer. The authenticity of the pogrom atmosphere created in JUST THE WIND is what makes watching it so unsettling yet so captivating.
